Chris is from Petaluma, California. Mother of two sons and a daughter. Loves cooking, the ocean, gardening and has an uncanny memory. She's a horse lover and owner, a country line dancer in training and....might be a little bit psychic.
Heather is from El Dorado Hills, California. Mother to one daughter and one son. Loves desserts, baking and has been exercising as an attempt to stay in her jeans for years. She loves comedy (perhaps that is why she loves Chris so much), sunshine, and is also a country line dancer in training.

Our Friendship:
As I was sitting in a school PTA meeting nearly 15 years ago someone on the board began talking about something that brought on a heavy eye roll. Thinking I was alone in my thoughts, I was suddenly struck by a swift kick under the table by the woman sitting next to me. I looked over to see this lady I had never spoken to directing the same eye roll at me. The meeting ended and a life long friendship began. Chris was artistic, spontaneous, and playful. I was scheduled, obsessive, and overly organized. We like to say I became a lot more like her and she became a little more like me. She loves to cook, I love to bake, and we both love FOOD!
We're both hitting that time in life -- with kids leaving home and a void now from all those PTA meetings. We decided that we needed a new adventure together. Loving good food and fun we decided a food blog was the perfect fit! Join our friendship; a journey with great meals, delicious desserts, a little advice and LOTS of laughter!
